Crosstraining
Our vision states that we exist to make disciples. One of the ways we seek to do that is by providing opportunities for all ages to grow and learn.
In Deutoronomy 6:7 Moses gave specific instructions to help parents know how to pass their faith and values along to their children. He said, "Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
“crosstraining,” is a program which will begin mid-worship for the younger children, running through to 11:30 am, with components for Grades 5&6, Jr. High & Sr. High following the service.
Kindergarten: Children aged 4 and 5 will meet in the blue room adjacent to the Nursery. In the Blue Room, preschoolers are using a fantastic curriculum called Lil’ K. Through a combination of singing, games, dramatic storytelling, engaging crafts and, sometimes, downright silliness, these kids will hear basic foundational truths repeated continually. Things like: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elemetary: Children in grades 1 through 4 will meet in St. Andrew's Hall. Here our kids will be experiencing KIDMO! This multi-sensory learning environment is designed to engage kids by speaking their language. Using music, interactive games, video, drama and loads and loads of fun, Biblical truths are laid out and examined in ways kids will NOT forget!
